The loss of the Telegeography data set in late 2022 has made mapping the current state of fiber optic network routes difficult.
Of note is this initiative from the Interent Society: The Open Fibre Data Standard (OFDS). Note the open data, open standards definitions as part of this.
But for pure OG CDN geolocation, this is hard to beat.
